Freedom was founded by Brenden Furrow and Kelsey Nelson with a shared vision: to make financial guidance more accessible, more connected, and easier to navigate through technology.
Together, they have spent years helping individuals, families, business owners, and financial professionals navigate important financial decisions. Their experience spans health insurance, life insurance, retirement income planning, business development, leadership, team building, recruiting, training, mentoring, and building high-performing organizations.
Freedom Score™ and Freedom Connect™ were created from a simple observation: most people's financial lives are fragmented across banks, employers, insurance carriers, and advisors — with no trusted starting point. Every assessment answer, profile record, and message is transmitted over TLS 1.2+ and stored encrypted at rest. Access is scoped per-user by row-level policies enforced at the database layer, not just the app.
Your data is never sold
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or lead aggregators. Professionals only see the details you explicitly choose to share when you request an intro.
Verified professionals only
Every professional in the directory is reviewed before they go live — identity, license lookup, and credential checks. Verification is visible on each profile so you know what was confirmed.
You stay in control
Take the assessment privately. Delete your data anytime. Nothing is shared with a professional until you review and confirm the specific connection.
